<p>The article analyzes the concept of the soundscape by R. Murray Schafer and its relevance in the context of contemporary art and environmental challenges. It examines the evolution of Schafer’s ideas, as presented in his work “The Soundscape: Our Sonic Environment and the Tuning of the World”, from his critique of industrial noise to its adaptation in the digital age. Contemporary artists such as Katie Paterson, Kristina Kubish, and Bill Fontana demonstrate innovative approaches to sound, from documenting the “voices” of melting glaciers to transforming electromagnetic fields into auditory compositions. The article focuses on the 2024 Venice Biennale, where the “Due qui / To hear” project transformed listening into an act of collective presence and reflection on how sound becomes an impetus for dialogue between humans, technology, and nature</p>
<kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>современное искусство</kwd><kwd>медиаискусство</kwd><kwd>саунд-арт</kwd><kwd>саундскейп</kwd><kwd>звуковой ландшафт</kwd><kwd>звук</kwd><kwd>шум</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>contemporary art</kwd><kwd>media art</kwd><kwd>sound art</kwd><kwd>soundscape</kwd><kwd>sound landscape</kwd><kwd>sound</kwd><kwd>noise</kwd></kwd-group></article-meta></front><back><ref-list><ref id="ref1"><mixed-citation publication-type="other" xml:lang="ru">Schafer R. Murray.
