Смысловое пространство оперы формируется при помощи четырех топосов (Добро, Зло, Дом, Лес). В совокупности они образуют схематичную картину мира, которая позволяет определить место и роль любого из персонажей оперы. Особое положение в этой системе занимают Гензель и Гретель — они находятся в ее центре как герои, принадлежащие каждому из четырех топосов.&#13;
Опера «Гензель и Гретель» имеет немало общего с музыкальным театром Р. Вагнера, влияние которого на Э. Хумпердинка трудно переоценить. Это сходство обнаруживается на различных уровнях и проявляется как в поэтическом, так и в музыкальном тексте. В то же время в произведении Хумпердинка заметно влияние и немецкой романтической оперы, в частности — «Вольного стрелка» К. Вебера.&#13;
Автор приходит к выводу о том, что картина мира в сказочной опере «Гензель и Гретель» формируется из нескольких составляющих, в их числе — народная сказка с типизированным сюжетом и персонажами-функциями, христианские мотивы, добавленные авторами, мифологическая музыкальная драма Вагнера, влияние которой испытал Хумпердинк. Картина мира представлена парными топосами, которые находят свое отражение в музыке, формируя систему устойчивых музыкально-выразительных средств.</p></abstract><abstract xml:lang="en" abstract-type="summary"><p>The article examines the features of the worldview of the fairy-tale opera “Hansel and Gretel” (1893) by the German composer Engelbert Humperdinck. It was based on the folk tale of the same name, adapted by A. Wette for a home musical performance.&#13;
The semantic space of the opera is formed through four topoi (Good, Evil, Home, Forest). Collectively, they create a schematic picture of the world that allows for determining the place and role of any character in the opera. Hänsel and Gretel occupy a special position within this system — they are at its center as heroes belonging to each of the four topoi.&#13;
Opera “Hänsel und Gretel” shares much in common with the musical theater of R. Wagner, whose influence on E. Humperdinck is difficult to overestimate. This similarity is found on various levels and manifests itself in both the poetic and musical text. At the same time, the influence of German Romantic opera, particularly C. Weber’s Der Freischütz (The Freeshooter), is also noticeable in Humperdinck’s work.&#13;
The author concludes that the world picture in the fairy-tale opera Hänsel und Gretel is formed from several components, including: the folk tale with its typified plot and function characters; the Christian motifs added by the authors; and the mythological musikdrama of Wagner, whose influence Humperdinck experienced. This world picture is represented by paired, opposing topoi, which find their reflection in the music, forming a system of stable musical-expressive means.</p>
<kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>Э. Humperdinck</kwd><kwd>“Hansel and Gretel”</kwd><kwd>fairy tale opera</kwd><kwd>fairy tale plot</kwd><kwd>topos</kwd></kwd-group></article-meta></front><back><ref-list><ref id="ref1"><mixed-citation publication-type="other" xml:lang="ru">Подковырин Ю. В.
