<p>The article is devoted to the substantiation of the relevance of Immanuel Kant’s philosophy of art. To understand the complex and polycentric processes occurring in modern culture, the ideas of the founder of German classical philosophy have an important methodological significance. The definition of poetry and music, their dialog and special role in culture, is significant not only for the classical paradigm of art, but is also a key to understanding the actual processes in contemporary artistic culture. The article points out a cognitive paradox: the philosopher, who repeatedly emphasized that “he is not a specialist in poetics”, intuitively prophesied about the enduring significance of fiction, “illusion”, “play”, freedom and truth in artistic creation. In order to study Kant’s theory of music, poetry and synthesis of arts, the article, along with the “Critique of Judgment”, attracts Kant’s “Tartu Manuscript” found by L. Stolovich, which is still awaiting in-depth study.</p>
<kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>Иммануил Кант</kwd><kwd>философия искусства</kwd><kwd>поэзия</kwd><kwd>музыка</kwd><kwd>синтез искусств</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>Immanuel Kant</kwd><kwd>philosophy of art</kwd><kwd>poetry</kwd><kwd>music</kwd><kwd>synthesis of arts</kwd></kwd-group></article-meta></front><back><ref-list><ref id="ref1"><mixed-citation publication-type="other" xml:lang="ru">Астафьева О.
